Wimberly Law Firm was founded in 1978 by Jesse L. Wimberly III, a graduate of the LSU Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and joined by Jesse L. Wimberly, IV in 2006, a graduate of Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans.  The firm is dedicated to protecting the constitutional rights of every citizen of the United States and the State of Louisiana and to prevent the victimization of these citizens by corporate interests and the insurance industry.

Over the last ten years, Wimberly Law Firm has represented numerous clients ranging from single person claims to class action claims recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for our clients. 

Patrick Turner v. Murphy Oil, et al - Wimberly Law Firm represented numerous clients whose homes were inundated with oil from the Murphy Oil Refinery spill during Hurricane Katrina, recovering millions for those affected.

Dorman O. Crowe v. Winn Dixie - Wimberly Law Firm represented numeous clients whose health were adversely affected when the vegetable irrigation system spewed hazardous bacteria into Winn Dixie's produce department, recovering millions for those affected.  

In re Bogalusa Chemical Spill - Wimberly Law Firm represented numerous clients who were injured when a train car in the possession of Gaylord Chemical Container Corporation exploded spewing toxic gases over the town of Bogalusa causing health problems for the residents.  Wimberly Law Firm recovered millions of dollars for the injured parties, including a punitive damage award of 92 million dollars, the last for this type of action.  

Jane Doe v. Wendy's Restaurants - Wimberly Law Firm recovered $750,000.00 for a client who slipped and fell at a Wendy's Restaurant. 

John Doe v. CNA Insurance Company - Wimberly Law Firm recovered a one million dollar settlement for a client who was a victim of legal malpractice.
